Who we are
nmbeauty.shop is operated by Hair Salon Magalhaes LLC, a Florida limited liability company. In this policy, “we” means that company.
What we collect, and why
- Your name, email, and phone — to create your customer record, confirm orders, and answer you when you write to us.
- Your shipping address — to calculate shipping and deliver your order.
- Your order history and returns — to process purchases, refunds, store credit, and gift cards, and to keep the records tax law requires.
- Your Hair Quiz answers and the routine we recommended — so you can come back to your routine, and so we can connect it to orders placed with the same email.
- Your password — if you create an account. It is stored encrypted by our authentication provider; we never see it.
Payment
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number is sent directly to Stripe and never reaches our servers or our database — we only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits.
Who else sees your data
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising. We use these service providers, only to run the store:
- Stripe — payment processing and sales tax
- Supabase — our database and login system
- EasyPost — shipping labels and tracking
- Klaviyo — order emails and, with your consent, marketing emails
- Netlify — hosting
- Sentry — error reports, so we can fix what breaks. It is configured not to send personal information.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute.
Cookies
We use one kind of cookie: the one that keeps you signed in and keeps your bag between pages. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not use Google Analytics or social media pixels.
Marketing emails
We only send marketing if you tick the box yourself — it is never ticked for you. Order confirmations and shipping updates are not marketing, and you receive those for any purchase you make. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing changes nothing about your orders.
The Hair Quiz
The Hair Quiz asks for your email before showing your routine. We use it to save that routine to your customer record and to connect it to any order placed with the same address. Declining marketing does not withhold your routine.
How long we keep it
Order and tax records are kept as long as the law requires. Your account, addresses, and quiz history are kept while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete what we are not legally required to keep, and tell you what remains and why.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Florida residents have these rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights. We will not treat you differently for exercising them. Email us at the address below and we will respond.
Children
This store is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced on this page.
